Haven Childcare Center Staff

Meet our staff!

Olivia Guffey is the Director of Childcare Services here at Haven Childcare Center. She is a well educated, loving caregiver whose desire is to meet the needs of all children regardless of ability. Olivia feels that it is a privilege to have been called to this position and to be working here with the team creating these incredible children’s programs.

Olivia has been working with children from her teen years as a babysitter through college working at The Goddard School. She attended Seton Hill University beginning in 2013 to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theater but switched gears in 2015, changing her career path to Elementary and Special Education. Olivia graduated in December of 2017 and then returned to Seton Hill in 2018 to obtain her Master’s in Special Education.

Since then, Olivia taught K-5 learning support in public school from 2018-2021. More recently, she held a position as an assistant director at another local childcare center from 2022 until this past May. She believes wholeheartedly that God has used all of her experiences and education up to this point to prepare her for this position now. Olivia knows in her heart that she was put on this earth to help educate children and thoroughly enjoys creating exciting experiences for them. Outside of Haven, Olivia is a wife to Bobby and mother to Victoria. They and their beloved pup, Mayzi, love all things outdoors, and spending time together, creating memories. You will often catch all of them going to camp, frequenting Idlewild, and enjoying any local ice cream joint!

She has a passion for gardening, reading about historical topics, and a good game of cards. Additionally, she loves baking with Leighton, turning their kitchen into a place of fun and creating treasured memories.

Ryenn is honored to be a part of the team at Haven Childcare Center. She brings nine years of teaching experience with her, three of those years being in public or Christian education, and the other six being in public cyber education.

In 2015, Ryenn graduated from Trine University with her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children had grown over the years as she was blessed to work as the summer youth programs coordinator for her hometown’s park and recreation department. As she began her teaching career in 2015, she knew she was being called to something “outside of the box”.

In 2018, she found herself being called to cyber education and she fell in love! During her time serving learners and families across the state of Pennsylvania, her passion for leadership grew and she pursued her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership. During that time, she was blessed to be named a teacher chair, in which she not only was able to serve her students, but also helped to better equip teachers. Ryenn envisioned herself staying in public cyber education until retirement, but God had better plans and called her to stay home with her two sons in January of 2024.

All of the pieces seem to be coming together now as she sees that God is calling her back into education in a setting where she can continue to be with her sons while also using her skills to teach other children. Outside of education, Ryenn loves spending time with her husband and their two boys outdoors. She also loves cheering on her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes! Ryenn looks forward to serving your family and growing alongside you at Haven Childcare Center.
